Volunteers and Service Learning header

Our community is stronger when every individual experiences success. Volunteers and service learners help empower people with disabilities to form meaningful relationships, live independently, experience professional employment, contribute to the building of community, and develop new life skills.

About Volunteering

Volunteers make the difference at Stone Belt! From assisting clients with arts projects to working one on one with clients who are developing life skills in our Lifelong Learning program, volunteers provide wonderful opportunities for individuals with disabilities to establish meaningful relationships and connect with the community.

Because volunteering at Stone Belt is about building substantive relationships, we prefer to work with individuals who are able to commit to an on-going service model.  We occasionally have one-time volunteer opportunities for groups. However, the majority of our volunteer experiences are regularly-scheduled, on-going commitments.  We keep a schedule of opportunities, and when these are all filled we retain a waiting list for those who would like to be considered for the future. At this time, we do not have any general volunteering opportunities.

For volunteering with our Milestones Clinic, please contact volunteerinformation@stonebelt.org.

If you'd like to be contacted when future opportunities are available, please send your contact information to communityengagement@stonebelt.org
