Milestones is a division of Stone Belt Arc, an organization that has gained community recognition for our experience working with persons with developmental disabilities and children since 1958. Formed in 2000, Milestones Clinical and Health Resources outpatient clinic and community services has grown to serve more than 3,000 children, adults, adolescents and families annually through a variety of traditional and innovative services. The heart of our mission is to help improve our clients' lives by focusing on their strengths to create a healthy difference that is long lasting.

Psychiatric Services
Milestones has two board-certified psychiatrists on staff who specialize in working with children and adolescents, as well as with individuals with developmental disabilities. Milestones specializes in assessment, evaluation and medication management of children, adolescents and individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities of all ages.
Dr. M. Melinda Weakley is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and she completed her psychiatric residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lia Kettenis is a graduate of the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her residency in both general and child/adolescent psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Outpatient Counseling
Milestones is a certified outpatient mental health clinic offering a wide range of supports. With over 20 years of experience, we provide a unique combination of behavior and therapeutic approaches to address mental health needs and provide personal care for each of our clients. Milestones has Masters-level clinicians and a variety of support services staff available to meet the needs of children, adolescents, families and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Receiving Support
Milestones has offices in Monroe, Lawrence and Bartholomew counties. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. Behaviorists provide 24-hour on-call services.
