Join the Down Syndrome Family Connection (DSFC) as they host Paula Aquilla, one of the leading figures in Sensory Integration / Sensory Processing. Sensory Processing Disorders can affect anyone, but commonly occur alongside other disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or Down syndrome. This all-day learning experience will be held, Friday, March 5, 8:30 am to 9 pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church (100 N State Rd. 46, Bloomington).
Both CEU and CRU credits (up to 0.9) are being offered for this event. The topic is relevant to therapists, educators, medical professionals, mental health professionals, caregivers, students, etc. Registration is $125 for professionals and $25 for parents/caregivers/students.
